Bobcats Down Berries In KSAC Baseball Matchup
The Clarion Area Bobcats downed the homestanding Cranberry Berries, 12-0, in five innings in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference baseball action on Monday (May 6th).
The Bobcats scored six runs in the first, five in the second and one in the fifth.
Noah Harrison had two hits, 3 RBIs and scored twice, for Clarion. Derek Smail homered, drove in 2 runs and scored twice. Dawson Smail singled, doubled, scored a pair of runs and drove in a run.
Bryce Brinkley singled twice and scored three runs. Devon Lauer had 2 hits and scored a run. Dauntae Girvan singled and drove in two runs. Tanner Miller singled and scored 2 runs and had an RBI, while Matt Alston drove in a run.
Harrison worked two innings, striking out 5 and allowing a run. Tanner Miller worked two innings, striking out 4 batters, while Devon Lauer worked one inning, picking up the win, while striking out three. The trio issued no walks.
Seth DeLoe had Cranberry’s hit.
The 12-1-1 Bobcats are scheduled to visit Keystone on Wednesday (May 8th).
