Bobcats Fall To Lions In Five Sets, In KSAC Volleyball Tournament Final

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the Clarion-Limestone Lions in five sets (20-25, 25-14, 25-22, 17-25, 10-15) in the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament on Thursday, October 17th at Penn West – Clarion’s Tippin Gymnasium. This was the Lions’ second straight tournament win.

Addiwyn Campbell recorded 11 service points, 44 assists and ten digs for the Bobcats. Hadlee Campbell also had 11 service points (3 aces), 20 kills and sixteen digs. Marley Kline delivered on 20 kills, 11 digs, and 11 points on serve (1 ace).

Natalie Durish registered 15 service points, an assist and two service points. Sophie Babington contributed 5 points on serve (1 ace), 9 digs, a pair of kills and an assist. Lacey Lauer had 4 service points (1 ace) and a dig.

Ali Burford had four kills. Anna O’Toole had a service point and a dig and Alivia Diehl delivered two kills.

Jenna Dunn had 12 kills and twenty-eight digs and Maddy Greeley had 12 kills and three digs for the Lions. Kaylee Smith registered 20 kills and thirty-three assists and Hanna Beggs finished with 9 kills and six digs.

The 2024 Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference’s All-Conference players were recognized on court.

The Bobcats and Lions will next play in the District Nine Class-A Championships, as will the Keystone Panthers, with the Redbank Valley Bulldogs competing in the Class-AA Championships. Keystone won the third place match in straight sets.
