Clarion Defeats Karns City In Bobcats’ Senior Night Encounter

The Clarion Area Bobcats downed the visiting Karns City Gremlins in straight sets (25-8, 25-15, 24-18), in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action on the Bobcats’ Senior Night, on Thursday (October 3rd).

The seniors honored were Hadlee Campbell, Sophie Babington, Natalie Durish and Ali Burford.

Addiwyn Campbell had a big match, dishing out 27 assists, serving for 10 points (1 ace) and coming away with five digs. Marley Kline knocked down 15 kills, gathered 7 digs and scored four service points (2 aces).

Durish delivered 14 points on serve (2 aces) and 13 digs, with Lacey Lauer scoring 13 service points, to go along with 3 kills and six digs.

Babington had 3 points from the line (1 ace), 4 kills and four digs.. Aubrey Leonard served for 3 points (2 aces) and had two digs. Hadlee Campbell served one point. Alivia Diehl delivered three kills. Burford had 2 kills, with Anna O’Toole knocking down a kill and collecting a dig.

The Bobcat Junior Varsity won their game in three sets (23-25, 25-13, 25-14).
