Former Bobcat Standout Aryana Girvan, Now Playing For Lackawanna College, Named To First Team On 2024 All-EPAC Women’s Volleyball Team

The Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) announced their 2024 Women’s All-Conference Volleyball Team, on Thursday, November 14th.

Former Clarion Area Bobcat standout Aryana Girvan, who now plays for Lackawanna College in Scranton, was named, along with three of her Falcons teammates were among those selected.

Aryana, a sophomore, was named to the First Team as an outside hitter along with first year player, Janna Hoffman (from Colorado Springs), who was also named to the First Team, as an outside hitter.

Sophomore, Maddilyn Durfee (from Buffalo) was named to the Second Team as a setter, while sophomore Nadia Toth (from Dalton, Pennsylvania) was selected as a middle blocker.

Lackawanna College’s website listed some of Aryana’s impressive stats and highlights, stating:

… She finished the season with 188 kills on .118 hitting this season, averaging just over two kills per set. Girvan had 50 service aces and 322 digs, along with eleven total blocks. Girvan had seven matches with ten or more kills, putting up a season-high 22 kills against Lehigh Carbon CC back on September 28th. She had 22 kills on .275 hitting. Her season-high eight aces came against PSU Scranton on October 12th. Girvan had 14 matches with double-digit digs this season, twice hitting a season-high of 26 digs.
