Bobcats Down Wolves In KSAC Boys Basketball Action
The homestanding Clarion Bobcats downed the North Clarion Wolves 52-35, in Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference action, on Thursday, December 12th.
The teams were tied 7-all after one period. The Bobcats had an 18-14 advantage at the half, after outscoring the Wolves 11-7 in the second. A 17-10 Bobcat edge in the third had their lead at 35-24, heading to the final stanza where they held a 17-11 advantage to set the final.
Dylan Smail led the Bobcats with thirteen points. Wyatt Watterson also hit double-figures, with ten points. Derek Smail had 8 points, while Nathan Frederick scored seven.
Hayden Weber scored five points. Quinn O’Neill canned 4 points, Treyvan Hooks had 3 points and Mason Burford finished with two points.
The Bobcats are set to travel to Lakeview, for a non-conference game, tonight (Friday, December 13th).
