Bobcats Compete In KSAC Boys Golf Mega Matches On Monday (August 25th) And Tuesday (August 26th)
Clarion Area competed in two Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) Boys Golf Mega Matches this week, Mega Match #5 at Clarion Oaks Golf Club on Monday (August 25th) and Mega Match #6 at Foxburg Country Club on Tuesday (August 26th).
MONDAY AT CLARION OAKS GOLF CLUB
The Bobcats shot a 264 to finish in a tie for eighth place with Forest Area.
Parker Miller had a Top 10 individual finish, for Clarion, with a 44, good for eighth place. Gabe Anderson shot a 51, Blake Weckerly carded a 52, Channing Ragan registered a 58 and Michael Troese finished with a 59.
Keystone’s Sean Karg was the medalist, shooting a 37.
Keystone finished on top in the Team Standings with a 209.
The rest of the field included: 2) Cranberry (230), 3) Moniteau (237), 4) A-C Valley/Union (245), 5) Brookville (250), 6) Redbank Valley (251), 7) North Clarion (252), 8) Tie: Clarion Area and Forest Area (264), 10) Karns City (275) and 11) Clarion-Limestone (284)
TUESDAY AT FOXBURG COUNTRY CLUB
The Cats shot a 253 to tie North Clarion for eighth place.
Keystone finished at the top of the Team Standings with a with a 203.
Moniteau and Cranberry tied for second place at 217.
The rest of the field included: 4) A-C Valley/Union (223), 5) Redbank Valley (224), 6) Karns City (229), 7) Brookville (231), 8) Tie: Clarion and North Clarion (253), 10) Forest Area (260) and 11) Clarion-Limestone (265).
Parker Miller and Gabe Anderson each shot a 45, to lead the Bobcats. Michael Troese carded a 47, Channing Ragon finished with a 56 and Blake Weckerly had a 60.
A-C Valley/Union’s Joe Rapp shot a 33 to take medalist honors.
