Golf: Bobcats Place Eighth In KSAC Boys Mega Match #7

The Clarion Bobcats placed eighth, shooting a 212, in the seventh Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Mega Match at Hunter’s Station Golf Course, in Tionesta on Wednesday, September 3rd.

Parker Miller was the Cat’s low scorer, recording a 40. Michael Troese was one shot behind Miller with a 41. Gabe Anderson recorded a 44, Blake Weckerly shot a 50 and Channing Ragon had a 52.

Keystone’s Sean Karg and A-C Valley/Union’s Koen Strauser shared medalist honors, with each coming in at 34.

Keystone finished first at 185.

The rest of the team finishes were: 2) A-C Valley/Union (201), 3) Moniteau (208), 4) Cranberry (210), 5) North Clarion (212), 6) Brookville (221), 7) Redbank Valley (224), 8) Clarion (212), 9) Forest Area (233), 10) Karns City (241) and 11) Clarion-Limestone (254).

Through seven events so far, Parker Miller is the Bobcats leader, sitting in fifteenth place, while the the team is in nineth place.

The Next KSAC Boys Golf Mega Match is scheduled next Tuesday (September 8th) for Aubrey’s Dubbs Dred Golf Course in Butler.
