Bobcats Down Panthers In KSAC Boys’ Basketball Matchup
The Clarion Bobcats downed the Keystone Panthers 54-35 in their Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Boys’ basketball contest on Thursday, December 18th.
The two teams were tied at 9 after one period. Keystone outscored Clarion 16-15 in the second, to take a 25-25 lead into halftime.
The third quarter saw Clarion with a 10-7 edge in the third, to take a 34-32 lead to the final stanza, where a Bobcat 20-13 edge set the final.
Nathan Frederick led the Bobcats with 20 points, including a trey. Dylan Smail had 12 points, with Mason Burford scoring seven points.
Trey Hooks turned in six points. Wyatt Watterson had 5 points, including a three-point bucket. Parker Miller finished with four points.
Dom Corcetti led the Panthers with twenty-three points.
The Bobcats are scheduled to host Rocky Grove on Monday (December 22nd).
