“Winter Warrior Showdown” Powerlifting Meet Returns to DuBois on January 17th; Entry And Sponsorship Information Included Below

DuBois, PA — The Western Pennsylvania Police Athletic League (WPAL) is excited to announce the return of the Winter Warrior Showdown, one of the region’s premier strength events. The competition will take place Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the WPAL Fitness Center in Downtown DuBois located at 37 E. Long Ave., DuBois, PA 15801
This annual event brings together athletes from across the region to compete in a high-energy, community-driven powerlifting meet—all while supporting local youth, first responders, veterans, and the mission of WPAL.
Event Schedule – Saturday, January 17, 2026
- Weigh-Ins: 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Powerlifting Begins: 9:00 AM Sharp
Registration Information
Registration (December 1 – December 31, 2025):
- Full Power (All 3 Lifts): $75
- Iron Man (Bench/Deadlift): $55
- Bench Only: $40
Awards:
- Top 3 in Full Power
- 1st Place Only in Bench and Iron Man divisions
Sanctioning:
This is a non-sanctioned meet, but all competitors will follow USA Powerlifting rules and regulations.
