Baseball Bobcats Fall To Bulldogs

The Clarion Area Bobcats faced the Redbank Valley Bulldogs in KSAC baseball action at Stern Field in DuBois on Thursday (April 10th).

The Bobcats who were the home team dropped a 7-2 decision to the Bulldogs.

Redbank scored a run in the top of the first and three more in the third for a 4-0 lead. The Bobcats scored one in their half of the inning to cut their deficit to 3-1.

The Bulldogs scored a pair in the fourth, with Clarion scoring one in the fifth, making the score Redbank 6 – Clarion 2. Redbank finished the scoring with one run in the sixth.

Parker Miller went 3-for-4 with 3 hits, including a double. He drove in both of Clarion’s runs.

Wyatt Watterson was also 3-for-4 with 3 hits, including two doubles and scored a run. Ethan Rex went 2-for-4, both singles and scored a run. Gabe Anderson scored the Bobcats’ other run.

The Bobcats are next scheduled to play Moniteau on Monday night (April 13th) at Slippery Rock University at 6:30.
