League President Brian Smail was master of ceremonies for the event. He opened by thanking community sponsors, managers, coaches, board members and Clarion Borough council.

Smail presented a plaque to borough council member and team manager Ben Aaron for his work with council on behalf of the league. Smail also presented a plaque to Clarion News Sports editor Ryan Pugh for his fine coverage of Little League over the years.

Then the various team managers introduced each member of their respective squads.

Last year’s 9-10 year old All-Stars were introduced. That group won the District 25 and Section 1 Championships, going undefeated in both tournaments and advanced to States where they finished fifth.
