Lady Cats Volleyball Team Downs Karns City, North Clarion (09/15/19)

The Clarion Area Lady Cats Volleyball Team won both their contests last week, downing homestanding Karns City 3-0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-7), on Tuesday (September 10th) and visiting North Clarion 3-0 (25-7, 25-4, 25-6) on Thursday (September 12th).

Kait Constantino had 13 points and 8 kills in Tuesday’s encounter with the Lady Gremlins. Brenna Campbell had 12 points (3 aces), 24 assists and three digs. Maddie Schill scored 8 points (4 aces) and had six digs. Korrin Burns had eight kills.

Payton Simko scored 4 points, and had 4 kills and 4 digs. Aryana Girvin scored 4 points (3 aces) and had three kills.

The Clarion JV’s defeated Karns City 2-0 (25-17, 25-17). Aida Needham scored 8 points (6 aces), Noel Anthany had 8 points (5 aces) and Bailey Rupert scored 6 points (3 aces).

Brenna had a big night in the match with North Clarion, scoring 23 points (7 aces) and dishing out fourteen assists. Kait had 12 points (4 aces) and four assists. Grace Matson had 11 points, Korrin Burns had 5 points (3 aces) and 9 kills and K. K. Girvan had four digs.

The Lady Cat JV’s defeated the Lady Wolves 2-0 (25-22, 25-15).

Clarion will host Clarion-Limestone on Tuesday (September 17th).
