Six Wildcats Named To 2020 District Nine League Big School South Football All-Star Team (Posted 12/11/20)
Six Central Clarion Wildcats have been named 2020 District 9 League Big School South Football All-Stars.
Ethan Burford and Cutter Boggess were two-way selections, with Ethan being named at wide receiver/slot back and safety, and Cutter being selected at running back/slot back and linebacker.
Beau Verdill was selected at placekicker, Hunter Craddock was named at defensive end and Cooper Shall got a nod at safety.
Cal German was given Honorable Mention at quarterback.
Top Award winners for the Big School South Division include: Brookville’s Jack Krug – Offensive MVP and Nathan Waltman from Karns City – Defensive MVP. Punxsutawney’s Brandon Ishman – Offensive Lineman of the Year and Elliot Park from Brookville – Defensive Lineman of the Year. Karn City’s Joe Sherwin – Coach of the Year.
