Bobcats Fall To Tigers In D9/D10 Crossover Girls Volleyball Match
The Clarion Bobcats dropped a four set (13-25, 25-23, 19-25, 15-25) to the homestanding Maplewood Tigers in a District 9/District 10 Girls volleyball crossover match, on Thursday (October, 10th).
Addiwyn Campbell had a very solid match for the Bobcats, with 31 assists, 8 service points (1 ace), 11 digs and a kill. Hadlee Campbell registered 10 service points (2 aces), 14 digs and eleven kills. Natalie Durish contributed 15 each in the digs and kills columns, while scoring 5 points on serve (2 aces), and handing out an assist.
Marley Kline delivered 15 kills, came up with 9 digs and had one service point. Sophie Babington had 7 kills, 5 digs and a service point.
Lacey Lauer finished with 4 points on serve (2 aces) and an assist. Ali Burford finished with 3 service points (1 ace) and three digs. Anna O’Toole delivered a pair of digs.
The Bobcats will next compete in the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Championships, set for next Wednesday and Thursday (October 16th and 17th), at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gymnasium.
