Clarion’s Prince Brooks Captures First Place And Eliza Datko Places Second In Their Divisions At Twilight Quad (Strawberry Days) 5K

Two Clarion Athletes Prince Brooks and Eliza Datko had great outings at the Twighlight Quad (Strawberry Days) 5K at Grove City on Wednesday, June 18th.

Prince captured first place in the Mens 20-29 age division, with a time of 17:00. the time was also good for sixth overall.

Eliza, just sixteen, finished second in the Womens 16-19 age division, running a 20:56. She was thirty-first overall.

Two other area runners fared well also.

Diane Daugherty from Emlenton finished second in the Womens 75 and Up division, with a time of 45:39.

Jeremy Troup from New Bethlehem finished sixth in the Mens 20-29 division, running an 18:29, which was also good for 13th place overall.

There were 116 finishers among the Men and 84 finishers among the Women, for a total of 198 finishers.
