Hayden Hindman And Charlie Hepfl Selected To Play In East/West Small School Football Game

The Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association (PFSCA) has announced rosters for their 2026 East/West Small Schooland East/West Large School Games, and two Central Clarion Wildcats, Hayden Hindman and Charlie Hepfl have been selected to play for the West in the Small School matchup.
The East/West Games include players, from programs from across the Commonwealth and are the second most prestigious statewide games, second only to the PFSCA BIG33 Game, which currently pits Pennsylvania and Maryland. from Pennsylvania and Maryland.
The Small School Game features players from 1A-3A schools and co-ops and the Large School Game has players from 4A to 6A schools and co-ops.

Both games will be played on Sunday, May 17th, in Mechanicsburg, at Cumberland Valley High School’s Chapman Field. The Small School Game is set for noon and the Large School Game will kickoff at 5 p.m.

The BIG33 Game is slated to be played at the same location, the following Sunday, May 25th at 7:30 p.m.

Hayden has been selected to play defensive end and Charlie has been selected as the long snapper, for Central Clarion.
Central Clarion head coach Davey Eggleton had this to say about the duo, “I couldn’t be more proud of Hayden and Charlie for being selected to play in the East-West Game.
“It’s one of the premier all-star games in Pennsylvania, and this honor reflects the hard work, dedication, and leadership they’ve shown throughout their careers.
“Having them represent our program on that stage means a great deal to our school and community.”
There are a number of other players and coaches from the area slated to take part for the West in both games.
WEST SMALL SCHOOL
Port Allegany’s Nick Wilfong is selected at cornerback, St. Marys’ Andrew Field will play inside linebacker and Grove City’s Delathian Boanes is slated to play defensive end.
St. Mary’s head coach Chris Dworek will be the West’s head coach. Also on the staff will be Brookville’s Bill Morrison as an assistant coach.
The rest of the coaching staff includes assistants, Lew McElwee from United, Joe Sinkovich from Big Spring, Ryan Donaldson from Meyersdale and Brian Cooper from Laurel.
The East head coach is Marian Catholic’s Billy O’Gurek.
WEST LARGE SCHOOL
DuBois’ Jaxson Hanzley is selected at wide receiver, Clearfield’s Xavier Curry is chosen at cornerback and General McLane’s Jared Corwin is slated at defensive end.
Clearfield’s Miles Caragein is an assistant coach on the staff headed by Gerard Yonchic from Central York.
The rest of the assistants are Mark Matson from Allderdice, Ryan Lehmeiea from Central Catholic in Pittsburgh, Matt Heiser from Gettysburg and Shane Breon from Mifflin County.
The East head coach is Doug Dahms from Wilson West Lawn.
