Baseball: Bobcats Down Panthers In Five Innings

The Clarion Area Bobcats downed the Keystone Panthers 15-0 in five innings, on Tuesday (April 7th) at Stern Field in DuBois.

The Bobcats were the visitors in the contest. They scored three runs in the bottom of the first, three in the third inning and nine more in the fourth.

Wyatt Watterson had a single, a double, 2 RBIs and two runs scored for the Bobcats. Dylan Smail delivered a single, a triple and three runs scored. Ethan Rex contributed a pair of singles, drove in two runs and crossed the plate twice. Carter Hindman had 2 hits, including a double. He drove in 3 runners and scored a run.

Gabe Anderson singled, drove in a run and scored once. Parker Miller and Kason Kiehl each singled and scored a run. Hayden Weber scored twice. Billy Kahle drove 1 runner home and scored a run, while John Conticelli also scored a run.

Parker was the winning pitcher.

The Bobcats are scheduled to face Redbank Valley at Stern Field on Thursday (April 9th).
