Clarion Area Little League 11-12 Softball All-Stars Begin Sectional Play Tonight (07/07/15)

The Clarion Area Little League 11-12 Softball All-Star Team will begin sectional play in Union City beginning Tuesday (July 7th) evening.

Clarion is the District 25 representative and will face off against the District 3 champion, Union
City.

The Clarion/Union City game will be the night cap of the opening day doubleheader and will start at 8:00. The first game pits Cochranton against Punsxutawney.

Clarion’s opening round opponent, Union City, has been quite impressive in district play as they have outscored their 4 opponents by a total score of 46-2.

The winners of both games will play Wednesday evening at 8, while the opening round losers will play at 6. It is a double-elimination tournament.

The Clarion girls are excited to play and would love to see as many of the local fans make the drive to Union City to support them.
