Junior High Volleyball Splits With Union (04/03/14)

The Clarion Area Junior High Volleyball Teams began their season, on Tuesday, by hosting Union. The Lady Cats and Damsels each came away with a win, with Clarion winning the 8th grade contest and Union coming out on top in the 7th grade match.

The Bobcat 8th graders won 3-0. Clarion posted 25-13, 25-12 and 26-24 wins in the  match.

Union’s 7th graders won the first two games, in the earlier match, 25-14 and 25-11. The Lady Cats came back and won the third game 25-21.

The Lady Cats are at Cranberry today.They will host  the Clarion Junior High Volleyball Tournament, along with Keystone, on Friday and Saturday. Friday’s 7th grade action starts at 4:oo P.M. and play for the 8th graders begins Saturday at 8:00A.M.
