Liam Raehsler Sets Course Record At North Clarion (10/05/14)

In the boys varsity race, Liam Raehsler won the first match-up between the two top-ranked runners in District 9. Liam won in a course-record time of 16:52 followed by Isaac Wilson of North Clarion at 16:59.

North Clarion remained undefeated in the KSAC with a 27-28 victory over the Bobcats. Other Bobcat runners were Adam Bettwy in 4th with a time of 19:23, Jimmy Smathers in 6th at 19:35, Crowe Theim in 8th at 20:01, Kyle Bettwy in 11th at 20:56, Marshall Powers in 14th with a time of 22:32 and Victor Stahlman in 16th at 27:30.

In the girls varsity race, North Clarion remained undefeated in the KSAC with a 20-35 victory over the Bobcats and were led by Kayce Bobnar who won the race with a course record time of 19:44. Hannah Frakes finished as the top Bobcat runner in 7th with a time of 24:28. Other Clarion runners were Liz Saver in 11th with a time of 30:06, Lili Frakes in 12th at 30:09, Maci Reichart in 13th at 30:58, and Mackenzie DiTullio in 14th with a time of 31:45.

In the junior high school races, Nathaniel Lerch of Clarion won the boys race with a time of 11:15 while Katie Craig of Clarion won the girls race with a time of 12:55.
