Coach Baumcratz had this to say after the game, “It feels good to get the monkey off the back, to get the first win here. But you know, it was a total team effort. We had three girls in double figures tonight. Maci led the way with 21, but a lot of girls stepped up tonight, not just her. They tried to go at us with the box and one defense and we had some plays to get around that and to force them out of it. That’s what we’re going to see a lot of this year so we’re ready for it.
