Varsity Wrestling: Bobcats Fall To Redbank Valley and Brockway (02/08/15)

The Bobcat Varsity Wrestlers dropped two matches last week, falling to Redbank Valley, 45-24, at New Bethlehem, on Thursday (February 5th) and to Brockway, 49-24, at home, on Friday (February 6th).

Following are summaries of the Bobcat winners in both contests, beginning with Friday’s match.

Prince Brooks on top

BROCKWAY MATCH

Winning by fall, for the Cats, were Jacob Troutman (182), in just 35 seconds and Adrian Webber (132) in 4:35.

Getting decisions, were Prince Brooks (160), 7-3 and Zach Sintobin (220), 6-1. Alex Struble won by forfeit.

(Brockway’s Anthony Benson won his 100th career match.)

REDBANK VALLEY MATCH
The Bobcats recorded three falls in succession, from 170 through 195. At 170, Jacob Troutman’s fall came at 51 seconds. Alexander Burkhart followed with a pin at 3:04 and then Zach Sintobin got his fall at 3:40.

Alex Struble won a 12-8 decision, at 106 and Prince Brooks recorded a 7-4 decision, at 152
