Bobcats Drop Track And Field Openers To Karns City And Moniteau (04/03/15)

The Clarion High School Track and Field Team dropped its openers, in a tri-meet against Moniteau and Karns City. The Cats fell to Moniteau 77-68. We don’t have the final score of the Karns City match-up.

The following shows the finishes of Clarion athletes in the tri-meet; we don’t have the breakdown against each school:

Liam Raehsler had a great day, winning all three distance events, the 800 (2:10.1), 1600 (4:47 and 3200 (11:00.0).

Ian Corbett finished second in the 200 and third in the 100. Ethan Straffin finished second in the discus and third in the javelin.

Zach Hill finished second in the high jump and Adam Bettwy finished second in the 3200.

Josh Kriebel had a third in the 110 hurdles and Burtura finished third in the long jump.

The Cats will be back in action on Wednesday (April 8th) when they travel to North Clarion.
