Little League Softball: CCCB Downs C-93 (04/28/15)

Ashley Simpson threw a one-hitter, while recording eight strikeouts, as Clarion County Community Bank downed C-93, 11-1, in four innings, in Clarion Area Little League Softball action, on Monday (April 27th).

C-93 opened with a run in the top of the first. CCCB answered with four runs in the bottom of the inning. While holding C-93 scoreless the rest of the way, CCCB scored one run in the second and three runs apiece, in the third and fourth innings.

Jordan Best led the CCCB offensively,with two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored. Kianna Girvan and Brenna Copenhaver each had one single and two runs scored. Simpson scored twice. Alyssa Dinger, Alana Smith and Arianna Girvan each scored a run for the winners.

Kylee Beers had C-93’s hit and Sarah Clark scored the run. Beers started in the circle, throwing one strikeout. Cassidy McCrea came on in relief and threw three strikeouts.
