Bobcat Football Team To Host GET FAST Program Again This Year (04/02/16)
The Clarion Area Football Team will be hosting the GET FAST football team speed training camp, again this year. The camp, which the team has used for the last seven years is designed to provide a disciplined, scientific, no-nonsense approach to developing football speed.
The camp, conducted by the GET FAST staff will meet twice weekly, from 7:00-8:15 A.M. and will emphasize position-specific speed and agility drills and team building. The program based on team needs and goals is intended to bring about measurable results.
Camp dates are June 3, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29 and July 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27.
The cost, based on 55+ athletes, is $65.00 per participant. Checks are to be made payable to the Clarion County YMCA.
Bobcat coach Larry Wiser says, This has been a great program at Clarion Area. Not only does it help with speed, but most important it helps prevent injuries.
Athletes are reminded to text Coach Wiser, at 758-1300, to let him know of your intent to participate. And athletes are to turn your fee in to Coach Wiser before June 1st, by placing money in his mailbox, in the High School office.
