2016 Bobcat Bonfire!! Set For September 1st (08/13/16)

Clarion Area Bobcat Sports Fans are invited to attend this year’s Bobcat Bonfire!!, to be held on Thursday, September 1st starting at 7:30 pm, for a fun evening to meet the fall Sports Teams, Band and Cheerleaders and get revved up for the 2016 season.

During this special annual event, all of the Clarion Area Varsity Sports Teams (as well as the Clarion-Limestone Boys Volleyball Team, which co-ops with the Clarion Area), players and coaches, the Bobcat Marching Band and Cheerleaders are introduced to the fans.

The Marching Band performs some of their program for the upcoming football season and the Cheerleaders introduce new cheers.

There will be liquid refreshments and cookies and various booster clubs will have tables set up, for distribution and sales of team items.

The evening will conclude with the Bonfire.

As usual, there will be a Pallet Spirit Competition this year. A supply of pallets will be delivered to the high school within the next week. Team pallets are to be decorated and placed on display in the lobby of the school by the morning of Wednesday, August 31st. The pallets will be judged that same day. The winning entry will be announced at the Bonfire.
