It was a promising start for the Coyotes, as they were able to hold onto the football for the entire first quarter. However, a nice defensive play early in the second quarter by Cochranton forced a turnover at the 1 yard line, preventing the Coyotes from scoring. Two plays later, Cochranton had moved the ball 99 yards for the first touchdown of the game. Cochranton went on to win the game by a score of 26-0.

Despite the loss, the Coyotes benefited tremendously from the game. With a majority of the team being first year players, the Coyotes gained some good experience. In addition, as there were a few key injuries, backup personnel got plenty of exposure and a great opportunity to shine.

Now, the Coyotes prepare to play Franklin-Gold this Saturday. The game will be at 3PM at Cranberry Area High School. Please come out and support the team.

(Thanks to Coach McClung for this article. Have a great season, Coyotes!!!!)
