The promoting organization, Fight to Win, holds events around the country and invites top level submission grapplers to take the stage and showcase their skills in grappling matches where the goal is to force your opponent to “tap out” or surrender to a choke or joint lock.

While only being 13 years old, Haven has been training in the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since he was 5.  He has traveled across the United States as well as to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in pursuit of training with the best coaches in the world.  In addition to amassing a variety of gold medals and championship belts, in 2012 he won his division at the Jean Jacques Machado Canadian Open.

This past wrestling season he joined the Bobcat wrestling team to help prepare himself for opponents with a wrestling background.  While wrestling and jiu jitsu can look similar, the styles are quite different.  The wrestling season was a great opportunity for him to learn to anticipate a different style of movement that his opponents may use.

Haven will be traveling to Cleveland to take on a slightly bigger and older opponent that will be fighting in front of his home crowd.  It will not be an easy match, but this is nothing new for Haven who has competed against a variety of opponents, each bringing a unique set of skills to the mat.

Fight 2 Win Pro #32 will be held in Cleveland, Ohio on April 21st.  Tickets are available at Clarion MMA and online at https://www.cagetix.com/index.php?group_page_name=f2w

The event will also be streamed online at Flograppling.com with an expected 20k – 40k live views!

Haven is currently seeking sponsors, if you are interested please contact Clarion MMA for details.
