Senior Frank Weber A Major Contributor For Bobcat Cross Country Team (10/23/17)

(By Matt Lerch)

The Bobcats lone senior Frank Weber and his parentsproudly displaying the KSAC plaque and his 8th place medal!

Frank Weber, the lone senior on the Clarion Cross Country squad, played the critical scoring role of the classic cross country “Fifth Man” in Clarion’s first KSAC title in school history.  Weber was the eighth fastest varsity runner in the Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference championship and fifth runner on Clarion’s winning team at the championships at Keystone High School October 26th, 2017.
Congratulating Weber, as he held the KSAC Team plaque to be displayed in Clarion Area High School this year, are parents Krista and Lee Weber of Shippenville.
Weber will assist the Bobcats Saturday October 28th at the District 9 Championships at Ridgway, with Bobcat team qualification hopes of an appearance at the State Championships in Hershey. Congratulations to the Bobcats on their winning season.
(Thanks to Matt Lerch for this article and to Christie Datko for the photos. Keep up the good work Frank!!!!)
