Lady Cats Softball Team Falls To DCC (03/30/18)

The Clarion Area Softball Team fell to the homestanding DuBois Central Catholic Lady Cardinals 8-4, on Wednesday (March 28th).

The game was scoreless until the Lady Cats plated two runs in the top of the fourth. DCC answered with four runs in the bottom of the inning. Clarion added a run in the top of the fifth, but the Cardinals scored four more in their half of the inning. A Clarion run in the top of the sixth, set the final.

Alexis Constantino had two hits for Clarion, including a double. Maya Thornton had a triple. Sadie Rudesyle doubled and Sydney Kiser singled. Constantino, Thornton, Wendy Beveridge and Tori Vega scored Clarion’s runs.

The Lady Cats will host Punxsutawney on Monday (April 2nd) and Cranberry on Thursday (April 5th), both games at Paul A. Weaver Park will start at 4:30PM.
