Two Bobcats, Two Lady Cats Named To 2017-18 TCS/CE Basketball All-Star Squads (03/31/18)

The Tri-County Sunday and Courier Express Newspapers from DuBois announced their 2017-18 Boys’ and Girls’ All-Star Teams in the Sunday, April 1st edition of the Tri-County Sunday. Included in this season’s teams are two Bobcats, Cam Craig and Austin Hummell and two Lady Cats, Wendy Beveridge and Kait Constantino.

Cam, a senior, was named to the Second Team after leading the Cats with 453 points (18.1 ppg). He finished his career with 1,138 points. Austin, also a senior, was named Honorable Mention.

Wendy, a junior, made the Second Team after scoring 315 points (13.7 ppg). Kait, also a junior, was named Honorable Mention.

Three Clarion-Limestone boys were named to the squad: Ian Callen – First Team, Christian Smith – Honorable Mention and Deion Deas – Honorable Mention. Two Redbank Valley girls were named: Tara Hinderliter – Honorable Mention and Lexi Holt – Honorable Mention.

St. Marys’ Nathan Schneider was named Boys’ Player of the Year and Ridgway’s Tony Allegretto was named Boys’ Coach of the Year. For the Girls, Ridgway’s Emily Fullem was named Player of the Year and Brookville’s Mark Powell was named Coach of the Year.
