Softball Round-up: Lady Cats Down C-L, Bounce Back From Loss To KC (05/05/18)

Clarion vs Clarion-Limestone

The homestanding Clarion Area Lady Cats Softball Team downed the Clarion-Limestone Lady Lions, 17-2, in five innings on Wednesday (May 2nd).

Clarion had nineteen hits in the contest.

Alexis Constantino had a triple and two singles. She drove in a pair of runs and also crossed the plate three times.

Sydney Kiser and Brenna Campbell each doubled and singled. Carly Best, Kate Constantino, Lindsey Kemmer, MacKenzie DiTullio and Maya Thornton each had a pair of hits. Kate Constantino scored three times and Thornton had three RBIs.

Sadie Rudesyle was the winning pitcher. She struck out four and allowed no walks, while giving up six hits.

Clarion vs Karns City

Clarion fell to visiting Karns City 8-2, on Monday (April 30th).

Brenna Campbell drove in both of Clarion’s runs. Sadie Rudesyle walked three times.

Kate Allen and Alyssa Stitt were each 3-for-4 for the Lady Gremlins.
