Bobcat Volleyball Wins On Senior Night; JV Results Included (10/16/2018)

(By CSZ Sports Writer Kenn Staub) The Clarion volleyball team celebrated Senior Night last Thursday (Oct. 11) by sweeping Union 25-13, 25-12, and 25-7. Sophomore Brenna Campbell served for 18 points (three aces) and recorded 25 assists. Clarion junior Kaitlyn Constantino added 12 of her own from the line (2 aces). Senior Dorothy Kalinowski paced the Bobcat’s attack at the net with seven kills. Fellow senior Hailey Sintobin hit five kills, as did Constantino. Kalinowski and Sintobin both blocked shots.

In addition to Kalinowski and Sintobin, the other Clarion seniors are Lexi Lauer and Ali Troese.

Junior Varsity: The JV Bobcats started the Senior Night festivities with a sweep of their own, winning 25-11 and 25-23. Payton Simko had 15 service points (five aces) and Noel Anthony eight (one ace). Jorden Best was good for four kills and Parker Boyden three. Anthony registered eight assists. Ava Kiser came up with seven digs and Boyden notched a block.
