Wendy Beveridge Has Solid Performance In Sportsmanship 1 All-Star Basketball Game (04/01/19)

Clarion Area Lady Cat Wendy Beveridge had a good all-round performance int the 2019 Sportsmanship 1 All-Star Girls’ Basketball game at Keystone High School on Saturday, March 30th.

Beveridge scored eight points, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out six assists in the White Team’s 116-84 win over the Blue Team. The White Team was coached by Clarion Area’s Roger Walter and A-C Valley’s Dave Sherman.

Beveridge’s teammate Olivia Boocks was named MVP. She led all scorers with twenty-seven points.

The Boys White Squad defeated the Blue Team by one point 89-88.

The White Squad’s Jonathan Cruz from DuBois, who led all scorers with twenty-one points, was the MVP.

North Clarion’s Kyle Mills and Kane’s Hannah Buhl won the Sportsmanship Awards, and Mills and Cameron County’s Alivia McKimm were the winners of the “32” shooting competition.
