Several Lady Cats Named 2019 Tri-County Sunday/Courier Express Softball All-Stars (06/24/19)

The Tri-County Sunday and Courier Express newspapers, out of DuBois, announced their 2019 Softball All-Stars in the Sunday, June 23rd edition of the TCS, and several Clarion Area Lady Cats were selected.

Named to the First Team were senior infielder Carly Best and junior pitcher Kait Constantino.

Carly was 39-for-78 (.500), with 19 runs batted in and 27 runs scored. She had two home runs, a triple and three doubles.

Kait was 17-6, in the circle. She registered 245 strikeouts while issuing just 39 walks.

Jordan Best evades the tag to score a run against Commodore Perry

Sophomore Jordan Best was named to the Second Team as a catcher.

Sophomore Brenna Campbell was given an Honorable Mention nod.

This year’s TCS/CE Softball All-Star Team includes players from: Clarion, Brookville, Clarion-Limestone, Curwensville, DuBois, DuBois Central Catholic, Elk County Catholic, Johnsonburg, Redbank Valley and St. Marys.
