Dawson Smail And Beaver Valley Baseball Teammates Win Triple Crown Nationals Title; Dawson Named MVP (Posted 07/22/19)

Dawson Smail, son of Dave and Jami Smail, and his Beaver Valley Baseball 13U Red teammates and coaches traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to participate in the prestigious Triple Crown Baseball 2019 Summer Nationals and came away with the Championship.
Triple Crown Baseball has existed since 1993, holding events around the country. According to their website, “Triple Crown Baseball, a grass-roots dream come to life that now reaches across the nation delivering competitive, memorable events that inspire and elevate athletes, teams and the families who make it a point to join the fun.”
And, “Triple Crown Baseball event directors only want to grow the game – with our partners in the high-achieving club world and the neighborhood teams who fell in love with the sport and are excited to get better and have experiences that will always be remembered.”
Dawson, who hit a three-run walk-off home run, to win the Championship game, received the MVP Award, an engraved baseball glove.
The Beaver Valley 13U Red had a very successful season going 57-3.
The Beaver Valley Baseball Club, which has been in existence since 1996, is one of the most respected baseball programs in the country. They compete on the highest level of travel baseball competing in top local travel tournaments and major travel tournaments in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

We expect to win games, but when we lose, we do not make excuses or point fingers, we tip our cap to our opponent and get ready for the next challenge. In short, a BV BASEBALL player is a Champion in a lot of ways!!!”
