Austin Newcomb Named To Week 2 D9Sports.com Football Honor Roll (09/10/19)

Clarion Bobcat Austin Newcomb was named to the Week 2 D9Sports.com Football Honor, for his play in the Bobcats’ 42-14 win over Karns City on Friday night (September 6th).

Austin rushed for 200 yards on 14 carries. He scored four touchdowns, all in the second half. The first broke a 14-all tie. Austin also had 1 catch for fourteen yards.

Brookville’s Jack Krug won Player of the Week honors, for his play in the Raiders 38-6 win over Punxsutawney. Jack completed 25 of 33 passes, for 363 yards, with four of those going for touchdowns. He also ran six times for 30 yards and a touchdown.

The Bobcats and Raiders, both 3-0, will square off at Brookville on Friday night (September 13th).
