Beau Verdill Breaks C-L Boys Soccer Single Season Scoring Record In Lions Win Over Forest Area (10/16/19)

The Lions first goal was scored by Beau Verdill with Paul Leonhardt getting the assist. Bailee Verdill had the assist for Beau Verdill’s second goal of the game. Paul Leonhardt had an assist on a Ryker Bingham goal.

The game was then postponed, with 27 seconds left in the first half, because of a power outage at the field.

Fast forward to Monday, October 14th for the continuation of the game.

Beau continued his scoring streak with four more goals with assists from Bailee Verdill and Nate Megnin. Forest Area scored two of their own.

The final goal was off a Ryker Bingham corner kick to Nate Megnin.

The final score was C-L 8 – Forest Area 3.

With the six goals he scored, Beau Verdill was able to break the single season scoring record with 41 goals on the season!!! Way to go Beau!!

The Lions will be heading to the playoffs!!
