Beau Verdill Breaks Single Season Goals Record For Clarion-Limestone Boys Soccer Team (10/22/19)

(Photo Submitted)

On Monday, October 14th, during the continuation of the Clarion-Limestone – Forest Area soccer game, Beau Verdill was able to surpass the single season goal record for the Lions. He scored six goals in that game alone, an 8-3 win. That moved his total to 41 goals for the season. The previous record was 32.

Beau is a Junior at Clarion High School and has been playing organized soccer since he was 7 years old. He and his brother Bailee played unorganized soccer for years before that in their backyard.

Bailee is also on the C-L team and can be found in the offensive midfield position.

Beau’s first organized soccer was with YMCA and then for Clarion River Valley Strikers. His passion for the game is beyond measure! He plans to continue playing soccer throughout college and hopefully beyond that!

(Congratulations Beau!!!!)
