Boys Basketball: Bobcats Down Warriors (01/28/20)

The Clarion Bobcats hosted the Moniteau Warriors, on Monday (January 27th), coming away with a 46-44 win.

The Cats held a 12-5 lead after one period. With the Warriors posting a 9-4 advantage in the second, Clarion led 16-13 at halftime.

A 20-17 Moniteau edge in the third, put the Warriors up by one, 34-33, heading to the final frame. The Bobcats outscored the Warriors 13-10 in the fourth to set the final.

Cal German led the Bobcats with sixteen points. Hunter Craddock followed with eleven. Josh Craig had 9 points, on three treys, and Beau Verdill and Skylar Rhoades connected for five apiece.

Ethan McDeavitt had a game-high 23 points to lead Moniteau.

The Bobcats (10-8 overall and 4-3 in the KSAC Large School Division) will travel to Redbank Valley on Friday, January 31st, for a Boys – Girls Double-Header.
