Boys Basketball: Bobcats Fall To Gremlins (01/04/20)

The Clarion Area Bobcats fell to the visiting Karns City Gremlins70-55, on Friday (January 3rd).

Clarion led 18-13 after one, but the Gremlins had a 17-9 second period edge, to take a 30-27 advantage into halftime. KC outscored Clarion 23-14 in the third, to carry a 53-41 lead to the fourth, where they had a 17-14 to set the final.

The Bobcats were led by Cal German who had a game-high 25 points, including 3 three-pointers. Josh Craig and Nick Frederick followed with six points apiece. Hunter Craddock had 5 points, Beau Verdill had 4 points, Skylar Rhoades had three points.Aidan Quinn, Christian Simko and Kyle Porciello each had two points.

Chase Beighley led the Gremlins with 21 points, followed by Caiden Corbett with sixteen.

The Bobcats will host Kane on Monday (January 6th).
