Basketball: Lady Cats Fall To Lady Berries (02/05/20)

The Clarion Area Girls Basketball Team fell to homestanding Cranberry, 50-38, on Tuesday (February 4th).

The score was knotted at 10-all after one. A 15-10 Cranberry advantage, in the second put the Berries up 25-20 at the half. Cranberry led 39-26, heading to the final stanza after posting a 14-6 edge in the third. A 12-11 Clarion advantage, in the fourth, set the final.

Payton Simko and Kait Constantino led the Cats with 12 points each, with Simko connecting on a pair of three-point shots.

KK Girvan scored 6 points, Rebekah Ketner had 4 points, and Jordan Best and Noel Anthony each had two points.

Cranberry was led by Ava Ferringer with 19 points, while Megan Hadden followed with ten.

The Lady Cats will host Karns City on Friday (February 7th).
