Leap Of Faith Gymnastics Has Great Showing At Candyland Meet In New Castle (02/06/20)

Leap of Faith Gymnastics of Clarion competed in the Candyland Gymnastics Meet in New Castle, on December 14th, 2019.

The Bronze Team were the big winners that day coming in 1st Place Team with a 109.225. Skyler Harriger, 6 years old of the Bronze team placed first Bars 9.60, Beam 9.45, Floor 9.225 and All-Around 37.225. Joni Reinhart placed first Bars with a 9.30 and 3rd All-Around scoring a 35.40. Brylie Glenn placed first on vault with a 9.60 and second place bars, 9.50. Cheyenne Harriger won second place on floor, with an 8.80. USAG Region 7 does not host a State meet for the Bronze Level. 

Jorja Parkinson, 10 years old of the Silver Team was on top of the podium at first place on vault 9.25, beam 9.725, All-Around 36.925 and third place bars 9.10. Malia Wilson placed third AA 35.90, fourth Vault 9.0, Floor 8.95 and fifth place Beam 9.30. Jadyn Truax won 3rd place floor with a 9.30, and fourth place Beam 9.50, Vault 8.35 and All-Around 35.55. 

All three members of the Silver Team have qualified for the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Xcel Silver State Meet in March.
