Bobcats Down Cranberry As Cal German Reaches 1,000th Point (02/06/20)

The Clarion Area Boys Basketball Team downed visiting Cranberry 71-45, on Wednesday (February 6th), with Joel German scoring his 1,000th career point, the eleventh Bobcat to do so, on way to his game high 32 points.

The Bobcats led 17-9 after one quarter and outscored the Berries 21-13 in the second, to lead 39-22 at the half. With a 17-12 advantage in the third, the Cats took a 56-34 lead to the final stanza, where they had a 15-11 edge.

Nick Frederick also scored in double-figures with 11 points for the Bobcats. Hunter Craddock chipped in with 7, Beau Verdill and Christian Simko had 6 apiece, Josh Craig scored 5 and Skylar Rhoades finished with four points.

Matt McQuaide led Cranberry with 23 points.

The Bobcats will travel to Karns City on Friday (February 7th).
