Clarion Area Basketball Boosters Host 2020 Tournament, Redbank Valley Crowned Champions (02/16/20)

This past weekend, Clarion Area Bobcats Boosters hosted its annual  Basketball Tournament. Eight teams played in  a day of competitive basketball in a classic double elimination style tournament.

The Boosters would like to thank all the teams who participated: Keystone, Clarion Limestone, Redbank Valley (6), Redbank Valley (5), Union, Clarion Area, Brookville and Karns City. The future looks very bright. The championship game, featuring the Redbank Valley Bulldogs vs the Brookville Raiders, proved to be an amazing and very exciting game with two teams competing at a very high level. The winning team was the  Redbank Valley Bulldogs.  Congratulations!!!

We also would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers, who generously gave up their day to make the annual Basketball Tournament a great success. In all, over 60 volunteers from the Clarion Bobcat team, boosters, and community worked tirelessly on registration, food, brackets, refereeing, clean-up and judging at the tournament. Thank you all for your hard work!
