Devon Lauer Leads Bobcat Golfers To First Place Tie In KSAC Mega Match At Foxburg (Posted 09/09/20)

Clarion’s Devon Lauer shot a 43, good for a fourth place tie with Clarion-Limestone’s Hayden Callen, to lead the Clarion Area Bobcats to a first place tie with Moniteau, in the third Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Mega Match of 2020, at Foxburg Country Club on Tuesday (September 8th).

The Bobcats, who have now finished in first place in all three Mega Matches so far, and the Warriors each totaled 237, finishing five strokes ahead of C-L who finished with a 242. Venango Catholic and Forest Area rounded out the Top Five with 266 and 268 respectively.

Clarion-Limestone’s Hayden Siegel and Moniteau’s Jacob Felsing both shot 39’s to tie for medalist honors, while Venango Catholic’s Colin Liederbach finished third, just one stroke back at 40.

Bobcat Jackson Fox shot a 44 for a sixth place tie with Moniteau’s Dawson Wallace, while Clarion teammates McKayla Kerle and Owen Kriebel tied for ninth, with each carding a 49. Ryan Alston had a 52 for the Bobcats. The next Mega Match will be Thursday (September, 10th) at Hunter Station.
