The Clarion Area Lady Cats Volleyball Team, who just secured their third straight Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference (KSAC) title, are looking to add to that as they set out to defend their District Nine Class-A title. The Lady Cats won districts the previous two seasons also.

The Lady Cats, who have been the Number 1 ranked Class-A team in Pennsylvania all season long, by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association (PVCA), are the Number One seed for Districts.

The Lady Cats will open district play at home, on Tuesday, November 3rd, facing the winner of the match between (#8) A-C Valley and (#9) Coudersport, who face off at A-C Valley this Thursday, October 29th.

If the Lady Cats win their first match, they will then host the winner of the match between (#4) Johnsonburg and (#5) Oswayo Valley, who will meet at Johnsonburg on the same night as Clarion Area’s first match. That match will be held on Thursday, November 5th.

The winner of that match, which closes out the top half of the brackets will face the last team standing from the bottom half, for the District 9 Championship on Monday, November 9th, at St. Marys.

All matches in the tournament are scheduled to start at 6:30 PM.
