With the final score of 67-48, one might think this was an easy game for the Beavers, but final scores don’t always tell the whole story, as the Bobcats held their own with the Beavers in three of the quarters, in Tuesday’s game. Clarion was outscored by just one point in the first (17-16), two points in third (12-10) and two points in the fourth (19-18). Apart from a 19-5 DuBois advantage in the second, this was a fairly even game.

Cal German led Clarion with a game-high 21 points, including three from-point range. Beau Verdill had 14 points, with a pair of threes. Christian Simko, with 7 points, including a pair of treys and Hunter Craddock with six points, completed the Bobcats Scoring.

Michael Orzechowski and Lennon Lindholm had seventeen points apiece, to pace the Beavers.

The Bobcats are scheduled to travel to DuBois Central Catholic on Thursday (February 25th).
