Clover-Serendipity 18U Wins 2021 Irish Rumble Volleyball Tournament

The Clover – Serendipity 18U Travel Team won the 2021 Irish Rumble 18U Gold Division Championship, which was held on Saturday, March 13th and Sunday, March 14th, at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex, in Manheim. The Tournament host was 3 Step Volleyball.

Serendipity went 8-0 in matches and 16-3 in sets during the tournament.

Going undefeated in Pool Play, on Saturday, Serendipity downed Metro 18 East (25-5, 25-12), Premier Boost (25-7, 25-13) and EC Power KOC (25-16, 25-17). Serendipity defeated Shockwave Reading in three sets (22-25, 27-25, 15-13) and Metro 18 South in three sets (25-17, 19-25, 15-8) in Cross-over action on Sunday morning, to earn the number two spot heading into the Gold bracket.

Serendipity won their opening Gold bracket match with Ridgetop VBC in three sets (25-18, 20-25, 15-9). In the semifinals Serendipity downed Shockwave Reading in straight sets (25-22, 25-19).

The Championship match saw Serendipity down EC Power KOP 18 Pearl in straight sets (25-12, 25-16).
