Bobcats Fall To Lions In KSAC Baseball Action

The visiting Clarion Area Bobcats dropped a 9-5 decision to the Clarion-Limestone Lions, in KSAC baseball action on Tuesday (April 6th).

The Cats scored one in the first and two in the second, to lead 3-0. But the Lions followed with three of their own in the third to knot the game at 3-all, and followed with a run each, in the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings, to carry a 5-3 lead into the sixth. Clarion tied the game with two runs in the top of the sixth, but C-L plated four in the bottom of the inning and held the Cats off the scoreboard, in the top of the seventh, to secure the win.

Dauntae Girvan had went 3-for-3 with two RBIs for the Bobcats. Cole Slaugenhoup had a pair of hits, including a double. Dawson Smail had a double and scored a run and drove in a run. Hunter Craddock scored twice. Gary Matus scored a run and Devon Lauer had an RBI.

The Bobcats are scheduled to host Franklin at Clarion County Park, on Saturday (April 10th).
